2. Personal Data CollectedDepending on the nature of the relationship with the data subject and the service or platform used—including, where applicable, the Citronella application—the Controller may collect and process, including but not limited to, the following categories of personal data:
a) Identification and contact data: first name, last name, email address, phone number, company, department, position, internal identifiers, handwritten or electronic signature, and other data necessary for identification or contact.
b) Authentication and access data: username, encrypted password, tokens, session identifiers, access logs, and data necessary to enable, authenticate, manage, and secure accounts and profiles.
c) Service operational data: assigned services, date and time of acceptance, start, arrival, service execution, completion, cancellation or reassignment, operational evidence, observations, incidents, activity traceability, and service performance.
d) Device and connectivity data: device identifiers, operating system, application version, language, mobile or Wi-Fi network, IP address, error logs, usage events, diagnostics, and data necessary for technical support and security.
e) Location data: approximate or precise location obtained through GPS, networks, device location services, or other technologies authorized by the data subject. In Citronella, such information may be collected both when the application is open and in use, and when running in the background, at intervals of up to approximately 15 (fifteen) minutes, subject to device configuration, granted permissions, connectivity, battery status, operating system, and applicable technical restrictions.
f) Billing and payment data, when applicable.
g) Information derived from support, user assistance, contractual compliance, auditing, security, fraud prevention, and, where applicable, documentation related to recruitment, hiring, or service provision processes. Where strictly necessary for service provision or legal compliance, the Controller may process sensitive personal data or financial data, implementing reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures in accordance with applicable law.
3. Specific Processing of Location Data in the Citronella ApplicationThe Citronella application may access and process location data of users operating as field technicians or assigned personnel, both in foreground and background, when necessary for the provision, administration, supervision, and continuity of contracted services.
Background location processing is required because Citronella clients need to estimate response times, measure travel and service times, and optimize service delivery. This functionality allows:
a) calculating, updating, and communicating estimated arrival and service times;
b) identifying delays or inability to provide service;
c) facilitating timely reassignment of services to the nearest available technician;
d) optimizing operational continuity, service traceability, and customer experience; and
e) generating operational evidence and performance metrics.
Background location processing is considered an essential operational feature when users have assigned services, are available for service, or are executing service orders.
The Controller will limit location data collection to what is reasonably necessary and will not use such data for advertising, data selling, or unrelated commercial profiling purposes, unless a separate legal basis applies and prior notice is provided.
